Deut. 20:3 He shall say: “Hear, O Israel, today you are going into battle against your enemies. Do not be fainthearted or afraid; do not be terrified or give way to panic before them. For the Lord Your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.
BUT
Deut. 20:8 Then the officers shall add “Is there any man afraid or fainthearted? Let him go home so that his brothers will not become disheartened, too.”
We must keep in mind to always pray and encourage each other in love—to keep each other strong in the battle. Your obedience to the Father remaining in the positions you were called to, keeps the body strong and fruitful. We have to remain committed to encouraging each other not turning our backs on the battle that God fights for us.
Judges 20:22 But the men of Israel encouraged one another and again took their positions where they had stationed themselves the first day.
Brothers, remember, we are responsible to each other and to our Lord in the battles we face every day. And the glorious truth is that it’s not ours:
2 Chronicles 2:15b This is what the Lord says to you: “Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours but God’s.”
So let’s hold each other up, brothers, so we will all experience this destiny together:
2 Chron 17a: You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you.
